Dodder Seed (Semen Cuscutae)
Type: Herbs
Latin Name: Semen Cuscutae
Chinese Name: Tusizi
Dodder Seed is a type of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herb commonly used to address urinary tract, spleen, psychiatric, and hepatic disorders.
In TCM theory, dodder seed replenishes the ‘Four Treasures’ (qi, blood, yin, yang). Warm in nature, dodder seed can help to restore healthy kidney function, targeting issues such as impotence, premature ejaculation, seminal emission, sterility, enuresis, frequent urination, leukorrhea, tinnitus, sore painful back and abnormal vaginal discharge. This makes dodder seed a good treatment for those with a low sex drive.
In addition, dodder seed also contains chemicals that act like antioxidants, which help to slow the growth of infected cells, as well as improve the health of your kidneys, spleen, and liver.
