Niu Xi, otherwise known as ox's knee, is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herb that is commonly used to promote healthy blood circulation and strengthen bones and muscles.
In TCM theory, Niu Xi tonify the liver and kidney, helping to ease joint pain, backaches, stranguria (painful urination), oedema and knee pain, and strengthen the tendons and bones.
Niu Xi also ensure the proper flow of blood and can be used to treat menstrual related conditions such as painful and irregular menstruation
