CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid)
Type: Amino Acid
CLA, or conjugated linoleic acid, is a fatty acid naturally occurring in beef and cheese.
It fuels energy and fat metabolism. Clinical research has found that CLA is shown to help maintain lean muscle mass and support a healthy body composition at a minimum of 3.4 grams of CLA daily. Conjugated linoleic acid is liquid at room temperature.
Dieting is an ever popular trend, and one popular tactic is restricting certain foods from the diet. Red meats and cheese are often in this group of excluded foods. Those restricting these foods may be missing out on the key benefits of CLA. CLA enhances the diet and supports metabolism.
